Bank Opening Times Christmas 2019
People make fewer visits to banks these days – because of online banking, banking apps and ATMs there is less need to go into a bank. There are also less bank branches open than there were a few years ago.
But – for those of you who might need to get to a bank or Post Office in Ireland around Christmas 2019 and New Year 2020- here are the opening and closing times and days. (Applies to Ulster, BOI, PTSB, AIB , EBS)
- ALL Banks in Ireland will be closed on Wed 25th , Thur 26th and Fri 27th December 2019.
- Post Offices will close at 1pm on Dec 24th and will not reopen until Monday 30th December.
- Post Offices and Banks will also be closed on 1st January 2020
- There will be no mail delivery or collection on December 25th ,26th or 27th 2019.
Credit Unions will all have different opening times. We have checked a few – and many of them will be closed on 24th December and also on 30th December as well as the dates given above for the banks. Check with your own branch for confirmation of opening times.
Note: Some credits due into bank accounts from other Banks between the 25th December and 27th December may not be credited to your account until the 30th December 2019.
