AIB are introducing a new low fixed rate mortgage for 1 year with an interest rate of just 2.49%. This new rate is available from 16th Feb.

The AIB variable rates for new applicants are also changing from Feb 16th – they will now vary according to the LTV (loan to value ratio). The current rate is 3.25% for all LTVs under 92%.
The new AIB rates from 16th Feb are :
3.25% for LTV under 50%
3.45% for LTV between 50% and 80%
3.65% for LTV over 80% and below 92%
