The National Treasury Management Agency have cut the interest rates on most of the State Savings products – from Prize Bonds to National Solidarity Bonds.
The rate cuts range from 0.35% to 0.95% on the AERs that were available on the previous issues of these products.
See our updated list of the Best Fixed Rates on Savings after these changes.
I was going to invest in state savings bonds 3yr,12th issue tomorrow and now I see the rates have all been cut.I don’t suppose if I go in with my 12th issue form I’ll get the better rate? Why was there no advanced warning of a rate cut,its been constant for a long time, infuriating. Susan
